The short version: AirControl watches your hand, not you. Your camera never leaves your Mac, and the app makes almost no network calls.

The camera

AirControl processes camera frames on your Mac, in memory, to find your hand. It records nothing, stores nothing, and uploads nothing. Frames are discarded as soon as they are processed.

The only two network calls

• License activation. When you paste your license key, the app contacts Lemon Squeezy once to activate it. This sends your license key and a device name. After that, the app does not touch the network for licensing.
• Check for Updates. Only when you choose it from the menu, the app fetches a version number from this website to see if a newer version exists. It sends nothing about you beyond what any web request contains, such as your IP address.

There is no telemetry, no analytics, and no crash reporting in the app.

This website

The website uses no cookies and no analytics of its own. Our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) as part of serving the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. They collect your payment details, email and billing information, and send your receipt and license key. We receive your email address and order details to provide support. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.
